We are more than a group. People know us as Finland Ma Nepali, Nepali in Finland, or whatever you call us — but at our core, we are a vibrant, dynamic community built to support, connect, and inspire every Nepali living in Finland.
Since 2023, we have been actively helping members navigate life in Finland.
We believe in building meaningful connections, sharing experiences, and creating a space where everyone feels welcome and empowered. Our goal is to ensure that whether you are new to Finland or have lived here for years, you always have a home within Finland Ma Nepali.
Who Is Behind Nepali in Finland (Finland Ma Nepali)?
The idea for Finland Ma Nepali came at a time when there were very few Nepali Facebook groups for people in Finland, and the ones that existed had post approval times that could take hours. Keshav Oli, a passionate teenager, wanted to create a group that was free, open, and without harsh rules or restrictions, where people could even promote their work freely.
Keshav’s brother soon joined him, along with a few other members (like Aadarsha) from Nepal, helping to grow and shape the community. Over time, many people joined and left Finland Ma Nepali, but Keshav never did — his dedication has been constant.
A few months later, Rolex Wagle joined and became famously known in the group as “Mama” — which translates to uncle in English — symbolizing his guidance and support to the community.
Today, anyone can join Finland Ma Nepali as long as they are passionate about being part of the Nepali community in Finland, keeping the spirit of openness and support alive.
